dc.description.abstract	The transaction that God YHWH performs at Mount Sinai with Israel is profound and has a great impact on His people. One of the most difficult problems in understanding the teaching of the Bible is the question of the place of the Mosaic Law in the Bible and today. This paper attempts to unravel this phenomenal transaction — to understand what was involved, what the implications were, how it relates to the patriarchs and the promises made to them, and how it relates to God's covenant people today. This paper also seeks to explore how or whether the Mosaic Law has relevance for believers today. The paper finally offers some recommendations for the church/believers today.	en_US
